“We are pleased to announce to the world that after more than forty years of envisioning a museum, Charmaine and I have decided to make this dream come true. This museum will be called the "SURLS + LOCKE MUSEUM". Our primary goal in establishing such a museum is to house a significant portion of our artworks alongside pieces from our collection. Additionally, a substantial space will be allocated to showcasing Texas art, encompassing both early Texan artworks and later pieces spanning from the 1950s to the present day…
